With the holidays right around the corner, we love the idea of reminiscing on spring time love stories to make sure everyone is ready for another amazing wedding season in 2018 - What better way to do that than with a beautiful wedding that included dinner al fresco?!?! Plus it is North Carolina after all, who knows, it could feel like spring in January!


Blair and Danny exchanged vows at Market Hall then guests were invited to celebrate their love here at The Merrimon-Wynne House. 


Blair and Danny's wedding vision came to life with blooms cascading down the stairwell, on the homes original mantels and beautifully dangling from the beams of the Carriage House. Even the market lights were wrapped with greenery - the lawn was sparkling all night long! Adding beauty and intimacy to their reception space were sensational furniture pieces and warm linens that matched their palette perfectly. A feature we loved ever so much was their bar. One of our favorite details was the hanging lanterns around the Carriage House bar that continued their modern, luxurious vibe. 

The details were thought out and executed flawlessly and we would like to thank the amazing team of vendors who made that happen.

Merrimon-Wynne’s Spring 2026 Wedding Showcase On Thursday, April 30th, we hosted our Spring Wedding Showcase at The Merrimon-Wynne House, a luxury wedding venue in downtown Raleigh. The evening was created in collaboration with our planning partner, Harmony Weddings, and a group of Raleigh’s premier wedding vendors. Guests were invited to tour the venue, meet vendor partners, and explore wedding design ideas throughout the space.
