Bridal Showcase, Summer 2021
We just wrapped up the month of August and we’re so excited to share one of our favorite events with you - Our Summer Bridal Showcase! We teamed up with some of Raleigh’s top vendors to create a space that would inspire so many couples for their wedding day and it was everything we dreamed of and more! We hope sharing the designs created by our talented team inspires you with all the possibilities that The Merrimon-Wynne House has to offer!
We are so excited to share that we raised over $3000 for Designed for Joy - a non-profit that provides transitional work experience for women emerging from trafficking, homelessness, time in prison, overcoming addiction or other vulnerable situations.
THE MAIN HOUSE
Our main house had every guest feeling like they were in Italy! Heather Lawson at Amanda Blair By Design was inspired by an Italian Countryside wedding - focusing her design on bright pastels and summer florals! She brought her inspirational photos to life and created the most magical space for our couples!
We love looking back at our designer’s boards and watching everything come to life!

THE TENT
While Pinterest boards were coming to life inside, brides were also finding inspiration left and right under our tented lawn! Our outdoor team filled the space with bright linens and gorgeous floral inspiration! Anthem Design and Meristem Florals did such an amazing job creating a unique yet simple and versatile design - they had every bride feeling like the space was catered to them and their own style!

THE CARRIAGE HOUSE
There was wedding inspiration galore throughout The Carriage House! Anthem House and Meristem Floral brought their visions to life one mood board at a time and worked together to create the most magical space for our brides! We cannot get over how beautiful these lush floral arches are and how perfect the lounge area is in our space!

Grasses and pods were paired with muted shades of peach, yellow and taupe that reminded us of the current state of our gardens.
