What Is An Evening To Ignite?
The Merrimon-Wynne House hosted its first event for a non-profit in 2017 as a way to bring together community members and vendors around the mission of a local organization in need of funds and community awareness. Bringing together some of the best Triangle event industry friends, The Merrimon-Wynne House made it their mission to host an over the top. annual event with a fun, new theme where all proceeds raised for the event go directly to the selected nonprofit.
As the event grew, Merrimon-Wynne, Band Together and La Fete Planning & Design joined forces to increase the collaborative impact of one local, grassroots nonprofit annually. As of 2024, An Evening to Ignite has helped raise over $500,000 for nonprofits in the Triangle.
After an intensive application process, we are thrilled to be working with Ripe For Revival to raise $150,000+ at An Evening To Ignite 2025 on Friday, March 14, 2025.
We are excited for the proceeds from this event to directly help Ripe For Revival to purchase, outfit, mobilize and cover operating costs for two years for its eighth mobile market that will focus on expanding the organization's efforts into downtown Raleigh, and the surrounding Wake County and greater Triangle region.
None of this would be possible without the help of our amazing Triangle event industry friends, generous sponsors and event attendees! Stay tuned for an announcement coming soon revealing our 2025 theme for the event and the date general admission tickets will be available to the public!

Haven House Services believes every young person deserves a shot at being safe, supported, and successful. They work with youth ages 6-24 in Wake County, especially those dealing with crisis, homelessness, or unstable situations at home, school, or in the community. Many of the young people they serve have faced trauma, abuse, or neglect, and Haven House takes a “whatever-it-takes” approach helping each youth figure out their goals, overcome obstacles, and get the skills and resources they need to thrive.
From the Wrenn House crisis shelter to street outreach, transitional housing, counseling, mentoring, and restorative justice programs, Haven House is all about giving youth the support and tools they need to grow
and gain independence.
The results speak for themselves: 96% of youth increased their independent living success/skills, 82% had an increase in the safety, stability, and supportiveness of their home/living environment, and 85% improved their school performance. Supporting Haven House means giving young people in our community a safe place to turn, someone who believes in them, and the resources to build a brighter future.
